have to admit...that's the same thing i've been doing...  "why learn something 
new if i
already know vi?"  : ^ )   also, it adds some consistancy for programming, 
since the AIX
machine i program on in class doesn't have emacs...  but, for coding on my 
machine, i
use a nice program called Code Crusader..  it's got color-coding for C, C++, and
HTML...  kinda kewl!
