If you have control over the servers yourself, you may consider
upgrading Courier to a newer version... that's about my only other
suggestion.

Sorry I couldn't help you more. OfflineIMAP does demand more out of
IMAP servers than most mail readers do, and sometimes things just don't
quite work right.
