[linux-help] Re: Problem Booting Kernel 2.6.0

I reviewed the page I referenced in my earlier reply 
http://www.geocities.com/epark/linux/grub-w2k-HOWTO.html and I noted it 
says that with multiple drives the /boot partition must be on the same 
hard drive that has the boot loader.  In my experience this is not a 
requirement, and in fact none of mine have ever been set up that way.

The warning from LILO is likely the key, combined with the NTLDR 
limitations.
