[linux-help] I need someone to show me how to.....

Hey y'all, it's me again. I've doing some research on ACPI and I need to=20
download a new driver for it, download the latest kernal, and somehow com=
bine=20
them together. I am available until 3:00pm eveyday during the week. I nee=
d=20
the ACPI functional so my system doesn't overheat. I have passed 'acpi=3D=
on=20
pci=3Dacpi' to the kernal, but I haven't noticed anything different. If s=
omeone=20
would be willing as to show me how to do some kernal programming, I would=
 be=20
very happy!!!!! I would suggested this weekend if at all possible. Thanks=
