[linux-help] Large disk drives && Ancient Bios'es

 Is anyone aware of any difficulties with some hdd's getting
corrupted when used ancient bios (1994) are used in conjunction with
>1024 cylinder hdd? I have had some difficulties with my hdd getting
corrupted (started defraging C drive last night and corrupted my FAT.
Had other problems of partition info being lost) Thanks for any
insight.
