To update everyone on my trials and tribulations of installing
RedHat Linux on a PB 486-25 computer, I happily report some success.
You're going to groan when you find out the solution though...

It seems that I had an old version of Slackware 96 laying around and
thought that maybe I should try installing that. While running the
install I discover that the first cylinder available is the 1040th
cylinder, which _some_ Linux (and dos) programs have a problem with.
I used the version of fdisk from the Slackware disc that I had to
create a Linux partition (after deleting my NetWare partition :( )
and am now happily running Linux. Next project - install RedHat.
Thanks for the help and suggestions everyone. Hope to see you at the
next meeting. Linux is going to be a challenge to learn (and master)

Shane
