I have a question. I have an old pentium 100 with 128 mb of RAM and i =
am running into crazy problems with my video setup. The highest =
resolution i can run it at is something like 640X420? If i try and set =
it on 800X600 i get half the screen on the top and half on the bottom. =
linux saw the vidoe card and acknowledged it but it did not recognize my =
monitor by type...but it did recognize it as the last option on the =
setup list and yet the refresh rates were wrong. so i chose a generic =
monitor and i get what i have now...any cluesa as to how i can get =
better resolution? FYI i tried an ATI Rage card and it was worse...when =
i hit test setting in setup...i would not even get a screen to display =
to see if it looked ok. im all ears.
