Any version of Linux should _run_ on that system. Some distros require more
than 4mb to INSTALL, though. Debian (> 1.3) needs 6mb to install, but once
it's installed you can run off of 4mb. If you can upgrade the RAM, do
that... you'll be glad you did. If you can't... perhaps install Linux with
the hard drive in a system with more memory, then once it's installed, move
the HD to the 4mb machine to run it.
