Thanks.  I guess I'm just used to "stable" meaning "stable" and not
"released from development but full of bugs."  Too much time trusting
Debian, I guess.

So it looks like I'll do 2.2.19 and finally get my PPTP stuff set up so I
can get into work without using the modem.
