[linux-help] Center tiff2ps output on page, how?

Hi All.
I have a collection of .tif graphics files that are all the same
dimension on the page, about 9x6 inches. I have a PS capable printer,
so if I do:
tiff2ps abcd.tif | lpr
I wind up with the image printed in the lower left corner of the page.
I would like to center the image on the page if possible.
If I print the .ps file from ghostscript, it tries to print the image
along the extreme left edge of the page which results in part of the
image being cropped as it is outside the printable margin. Also,
looking at the .ps file from ghostview, it shows it positioned in the
lower left of a letter sized page and I can't change it.
So, I assume the .ps file itself contains the page positioning
information. I'm completely green on .ps so if someone can kindly point
me to the line that controls this, I'd appreciate it. I can post the
header lines before the EPS part if that helps.
