[linux-help] Help-needed

Sir,
   I'm new user to linux. I've got two pentium III
PC's loaded with Red Hat Linux 6.2. I've to configure
two machines with uucp using null modem cable on
serial port. Please not that I'm not using any modem.

   I dont have a book which gives configuration about
uucp in detail. Whatever information I downloaded
through internet is not proper I feel. It's Taylor's
uucp configuration in which configuration files are in
/etc/uucp directory.
   I've configured port,sys,dialer file. When I run
uuchk to check , it ends by saying
/etc/uucp/port:10:syntax error. I dont know how to
solve this problem.

   Can u please suugest me some solution.
