The more and more i search, the more I find people mentioning the Netgear
card i have, however, I am pretty green on figuring out how to implement
what they are saying. What exactly/ where exactly is the PCMCIA card
services documentation?

Most any 3COM card will work great. The PCMCIA card services
documentation includes a list of supported chipsets.
