please disregard my earlier message - i reinstalled to a different
directory and that seemed to work.

the interface is not bad! i'm used to CivII, but the clarity here is
suprisingly decent!

i take it units cannot be moved by mouse? i get 4 inward-pointing arrows
on clicking, but then no movement either with clicking or dragging.
