Nope, we both use the same.

The first thing I checked :-) I even went so far as to chmod a+rwx
everthing. Didn't help... I will, I think, recheck it. It just doesn't
seem to be the problem. The error that comes up stumps me so much
because it says there is a parse error read....

Ok, no need to worry about this any more. Don't ask me how, but it seems
to work. Sheesh, I didn't know computers could be so tempermental. 

It _might_ have been because I only had set the CIV_DIR (or whatever it
        was) environment variable up for one shell.... but .... wouldn't
have a clue exactly why.

Reguardless, It seems to be working now
