I won't have any time to work on it this month.

I commented on this earlier this week; for tournaments I think the scoring
formula should be configurable, and the criterion when to end a game should
be configurable as well.

Not necessarily.  If a tournament wants to score players by the number of
tiles occupied by warrior units, why not?  Using unexpected scoring functions
targets may create a more interesting game.
