[Freeciv] Running Freeciv

I am a college student studing compter sciences and I can't figure out
how to run this game. Why do you have to be a rocket scientist to
play free civ? Create a version for Windows 95/98 (which about 90%
of computers run on!) and get rid of the server connection thing.
