Thanks, Reiner. Unfortunately, this program dumps core every time I
run it. I'm including an excerpt of kdump's output in case this helps:

        5 4 -1520 35
        5 5 -15"
   854 civscore RET   read 8192/0x2000
   854 civscore CALL  read(0x4,0x23000,0x2000)
   854 civscore GIO fd 4 read 8192 bytes
       "20 6
        6 0 -1520 0
        6 1 -1520 1

[snip]

        6 3 -1220 2
        6 4 -1220 3
        6 5 -1220 0
        0 0 -1200 14
        0 1 -12"
   854 civscore RET   read 8192/0x2000
   854 civscore PSIG  SIGSEGV SIG_DFL
   854 civscore NAMI  "civscore.core"

The version of xforms I'm running is:
 *  forms.h   $Revision: 0.88 $ $State: Beta $
 *            $Date: 1998/02/22 05:35:07 $ $Author: zhao $

I'm running FreeBSD 2.2.8-STABLE #0: Sun Apr 11 18:19:51 BST 1999.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Tom
