Hello Freeciv team,

I have a small problem when trying to run Freeciv 2.0.8 or 2.1.0-Beta1 on
Windows XP. I downloaded the GTK version and when I run the civclient.exe, the
main window opens, the buttons appear but without text on them and then I got a
Windows error screen. When asking the details I got the following information :
AppNAme : civclient.exe
ModName : libcairo-2.dll
Offset : 0002359a

I use Windows XP SP2 with GTK+ 2.6.8-1 installed. Freeciv 2.0.7 is working
perfectly with this configuration.

I had a look at the FAQ page but couldn't find any help.

Do you have any idea what my problem can be ?

Thanks in advance.

Brgds,
Christian Piercot
