Hi,

Here's a list of things I ran into when updating the Finnish unstable
translation.

Typo in ai/advdiplomacy.c line 1573. Translatable string
does not start with a capital W after start-tag.
(Also, the start-tag *%s (AI)* could well be separated from the string
to avoid re-translating it over and over. Same as seems to have happened
with "Game:" (thank goodness - now I just need to REMOVE it from all
strings). ;))

server/cityhand.c:387 and others suggest translating string
"%s". Absolutely needs a context indicator and preferrably
also a translator comment; otherwise in practice
untranslateable. Should be translateable, not marked untranslateable.

server/citytools.c:894 seems to have unnecessary indenting left over
from having "Game: " in the start. Looks funky.

server/citytools.c:1017 string should probably end in "."

server/citytools.c:1854 Don't put the space in the translateable
substring, put it between the %s%s so we can do punctuation where it
should be.

utility/fciconv.c:203 Badly documented. What are %s and %s? They're
called char *from and char *to in the code, insufficient data.

#: server/cityturn.c:1206
msgid "%s's %s tried build %s, which is not available"
1) Don't do genetive like that, give us a chance at making a real
genetive string instead. 2) "tried TO build". 3) End in period.

#: server/civserver.c:245
msgid " -P, --Ppm\t\tSave ppms of the map when saving the game.\n"
The whats?

#: server/civserver.c:251 client/civclient.c:231
msgid " -z, --zone\t\tEnable GGZ mode\n"
The what?

#: client/options.c:176
msgid ""
"If this options is set then there will be icons displayed on the
technology "
"tree diagram. Turning this option off makes the technology tree more
compact."
-> If this optioN is set...

client/options.c setting explanations are in nonstandard format: Set
this option to... If this option is set... If set... If this option is
disabled..., both.

client/options.c: around 242: the layer descriptions are in varying
format. X layer shows... If enabled, then x will be drawn...

That's it for tonight. :)
