You're right; the time has come.

I know the dev team would rather like you to make a diff patch for all 
the files that needs changing. I'm working on a combined patch for 
several nation I made or improved. If you'd like, I can include your 
Ryukyuans in that patch.

Also, may I suggest one small edit: Make the kingdom titles "Koku-o" and 
"Jo-o" respectively. There are no female leaders in the current version, 
but it may be in the future! ;-)
