There are two environments to consider on Mac OS X: native or X11.

In the native-land, there is left-click, and then there is ctrl-
click, a.k.a. right-click. There is no middle-click. But this isn't
relevant, as my Freeciv packages run within the X11 environment.

On my Mac system, I have 3+ button mouse with the middle button
programmed (via the mouse driver), well, as the middle-button. All
three buttons work as expected within Freeciv.

However, there is also an option within X11 to emulate a three-button
mouse. When activated, it behaves as follows:

- Left-click (or click on single-button mice). This is self-
explanatory.
- Option-click = middle button. The Option key occupies the same
slot as the Windows key on PC keyboards.
- Command-click = right button. The Command key occupies the same
slot as the Alt key on PC keyboards.
