It seems that the icons (client.ico and server.ico) are not distributed with
the
gtk2 installer for windows. The .iss file includes them, placing them in the
"{app}/data/misc/" directory, but they were never installed on my computer, in
that or any other location. Windows defaults to the ugly "titlebar and empty
window" icon.
