CVS 23 FEB 2005 GTK S2

Some aidiplomacy messages are very long, and even longer localized. They
appear in a single line, even though I think there has been a patch that
allows messages to go over multiple lines. Currently, you have to scroll
horicontal to read them, which is ugly.

Is there a reason while these messages are in 1 line? Is it a bug in the
code that they are not broken up to fit the window or at least not exceed 80
chars/line? Or is the english text broken but not the l10n text?

I've seen at least 1 message in the past which has 2 lines somewhere.

Anyway, I changed de.po, and have no problems during a test. Even msgfmt -v
--check --stat de.po thinks its all right.

What do you suggest? Can the code be fixed? Should the english messages be
fixed? Can translators just go on and break up those long lines, for S2?

Christian
