I think my original bug report misinterpreted the behaviour, sorry. I
downloaded beta8 to look at the behaviour there, thought it was
different, tried beta7 client/server again, and found the behaviour to
be the same there. Here is a more precise description of what I see
happening and what I expect to happen.

The number given by 'G' appears to represent "number of turns to get to
this point and still have remaining movement points >0". I think I'd
prefer to have a simple "number of turns to get to this point", even if
at the end of it the unit is exhausted and can't do anything.

For instance, for an exhausted Explorer (0 moves left, can move 3
squares next turn), beta7/8 gives:
 - 'G' with 1 segment: turns=1, ok.
 - with 2 segments: turns=1, ok.
 - with 3 segments: turns=2 -- I would have expected turns=1 here.
 - with 4 segments: turns=2, ok.
Similarly, with an exhausted Settler, a 'G' with 1 segment gives turns=2
where I'd have expected turns=1.
(where turns=0 assumed to mean "can be there within this turn" -- thus
'G' to the square we're on would always be 0)

I realise this can be argued either way; I could understand if
experienced players actively prefer the current behaviour. If so, it
should be documented somewhere prominent, or I expect it'll become a
FAQ...
