This may be an option. I am thinking of adding a server option to regulate
how much CPU the AI should use. At 100%, the AI will not attempt to cache
anything, and recalculate everything each turn. This should enable
autogames to resume from savegames without any divergence.

What other games have autogames, and autogames that can continue from
savegames as if they were started from scratch even?
