Suggestion : How about a "CODE RED" report ?
There is already a "Chat" window and a "Messages" report panel with the
highlights from the "Chat" window. A "CODE RED" report panel would have
only a few messages routed to it (e.g. change in government) and might
to programmed to either be in red or set to blink when a new message is
sent to it. This would avoid having to redo every signal point with
color attributes. Instead you would only add a few more calls to the
message handler for those messages that are important.
