Before the first beta for the next release, we should finalize most translatable strings.

Unfortunately this is far from complete. Many LOG_NORMAL strings are not translated. And many server setting strings need to be edited or written (every server setting should have a short and a long helptext).

Any help with this would be appreciated, either in the form of a patch or just a list of things that need changing.

Please consider carefully which strings are to be translated and which are
not. Much logging Information is only interesting for developers, who prefer
english anyway. Translating lots of logging messages which nearly nobody
ever reads is a lot of useless work on the shoulders of few translators.

Debugging output should never be translated.

However user output includes stuff like ruleset and tileset errors. This is useful to data authors who are usually not developers. Should it be translated? In the past it has not been, but Mateusz and I have started translating some of it. Usually it has a /* TRANS */ comment explaining that it's obscure, but the translators I've talked to say this isn't particularly helpful.
