What for? I mean, if your display can fit the map 4 times, will you
replicate it 4 times as well? Seeing 4 times the same unit and city, etc.
Bloody confusing IMHO. View wraping I can understand, its like a map
camera position change, but replication of tiles? Makes no sense at all.

OK, so this question is closely tied to the other question: do we want extended/futuristic topologies? If we do, then we need to draw units multiple times. If not, then not.

Note that in normal topologies the display generally doesn't fit the map 4 times, so your case isn't really a problem.

In either case, I'd suggest playing a game with multiple units drawn before arguing either way. See Marcelo's patch.
