[Freeciv-Dev] Lag

I use windows95 and my freeciv-version is 1.14.0 for windows. I have some 
frustrating problems with lag. the units dont move or the react extremely 
slowly and after a few turns with this problem i get disconnected from the 
server. So far i have taken care of the problem by simply restarting my 
computer. is there a nother preventive and/or better way to take care of 
"lag-problems"?
