That's what I get for making the patch at the last minute before leaving 
for vacation.

OK, here it is, updated, with all the files.  I think everything's fixed 
(except the stuff that I said earlier was out-of-scope).  Check it out.

It would be very convinient if the nightly tarballs could come back.  
They were my preferred method of bringing things up to date.  Who's in 
charge of that?

BTW, are we preparing for a 1.15 release?  I've seen no mention of it on 
the list or website, but the version number ends in .99 and the capstr 
is getting really long.  Is a feature-freeze expected?
