I am not quite sure what you want.  Here is what I think you are saying.

The map will currently look something like this with 5 players:

##  ###  ###  ###  
##
##  ###  ###       
###################

And you think it should look like this:

###################
##  ###  ###  ###  
##
##    ###  ###       
###################

Is this what you are asking?
