After 5 turns of playing with my under-construction files, the server abords:
> civserver: plrhand.c:211: found_new_tech: Assertion `tech_is_available(plr, 
tech_found)' failed.
I don't know if it has anything to do with this patch, but the name of the 
function suggests it could be.
(weird thing is that there's as far as I know no research yet by any nation)
