Oh. I thought you were using GTK+ 2.0 because of the wctomb error.

These are the interesting ones. Thanks.

Try upgrading to GTK+-1.2.10. They seem to have fixed some I18N problems
in that version. Also try running the GTK+ client without any theme engines.

I get no crashes here with GTK+-1.2.10 on RH 8.0.

Please report on your findings.

Some of the Swedish names have umlauts and that is probably giving you a
problem.
