Good, that solves it.

                                              Note that it will pop up the
    score on every human player's screen -- so they will all know someone's
    checking.

I don't see the motivation for that--why not just assume that everyone
knows the score whenever he is interested?  In fact, why not display
it all the time?

By the way, it would be nice to output something about how the score
relates to the raw data, the various subtotals that contribute to it,
etc.
