I would much rather say that Pearl Harbour has been implemented. Any ships
caught in port while being attacked suffer a massive disadvantage. Their
firepower is reduced to one while their attackers is doubled. This works well
for units with really high firepower like cruise missiles/aircraft vs ships.

The helicopter unit suffers a 50% penalty to defence. It also has its firepower
reduced to one when attacked by a fighter. Only fighter units get this
bonus(Stealth and regular). Bombers do not get bonuses to attack against helis.

You could also say that air combat now follows Civ 2 rules almost completely.
All that is left is to reduce the effects of Aegis vs aircraft.

And my other patch that gave fighters 400% defence against air units, not
stacking with SAM,has apparently been forgotten.

I suspect you meant, you get a new palace. I have to admit I am impressed. I
had no idea that we wrote so much code. All the developers should give
themselves a pat on the back. It's well deserved ;-).
