Hello,

I downloaded and tested your latest beta on the weekend. I looks great. As
a long time civ player I love what you've done with Freeciv. I like to make
a couple of observations:

1. The combat animations that occur when a computer player is acting are so
fast that on many occasions I only noticed when the report came up at the
beginning of my turn. Is there any way to slow the combat animations down?

2. In Microprose's Civ2 the main method the developers used to make the game
harder was to have all the computer players form alliances against you. This
seems like a cop out to me and it takes the fun out of the game. I have not
noticed this in Freeciv yet. I hope I never will.

Keep up the great work!
