What is the exact URL of 'your page'?

I want to know if you are referring to Attila Tajti's original set,
or Tuomas Airaksinen's version?  Tuomas's version can just be unpacked
into your $FREECIV_PATH and it will work.

I'll try your version later and maybe add a News item.  Can contribute
a screenshot (see www.freeciv.org/screenshots/) ?
