This is, according to some of the bods on license-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
still debated and has not really been tried in court, which would require
the original creator (or owner of copyright) to challenge this. The
exception is if the copyright is assigned from conception, as when producing
work for your employer (often part of your contract) and when producing work
for some charity/society/etc.

IANAL, this is my understanding from experience and from moderate-depth
conversations with people who AAL.
