Hi everybody, I'm a student in computer science.

I'm writing to thank the FreeCiv staff.

I'm managing a project at SourceForge, the name is Antartica.

This is a client/server game, no more I can say about it, because it is
still planning, many details we're discussing about.

Actually, I'm the only developer, but I have received some requests to
join in the project.

The main game is written in C, and it is _not_ a clone of FreeCiv, but I
wish to thank you because studinig the code of FreeCiv was a great
starting point, not enough, but the best initial step that a beginner
programmer may do.

If you would like to learn more about us, you can visit our homepage:
http://antartica.sourceforge.net
Or write: neugens@xxxxxxxxx

Of course, playing FreeCiv take me a lot of time, so my homepage is not
perfect! ;)

Thank you again, thanks to the Open Source Community, I hope you will
soon enjoy with Antartica as me with FreeCiv!

Good work!

P.S. Two things need in FreeCiv to be perfect: a better handle of the
time (computer grows too faster!!) and a real hackers guide, it is
sometime difficult to follow the functions calls!

Bye!
