I already reported this one a while ago. See
<http://www.freeciv.org/cgi-bin/bugs?findid=538>. My river patch (which
already exists and is tested by other people) fixes the river part of
the bug, and my 'coordinate generalization and optional wrapping in any
direction' pach series, of which I have only posted the first part, was
meant do deal with the forest part of the problem as well. But if your
patch is OK, they should commit it.
