I use glib-1.2.7 and gtk+-1.2.7 which are the latest available.

I think candidates are the city widgets for example, they capture around 2 MB
and don't release it if they get closed, but I don't think they are the only 
ones.

I'll do a more detailed analysis if I have some spare time.
