There's nothing wrong with 1.10 as a version number.
Only commercial companies do stupid things like
6.0-->7.0-->7.1-->7.5-->8.0-->8.5-->9.0-->9.0.1--->'X'
Or should that be 3.0-->3.1-->95-->98--->2000
Whatever.
Anyhow, there are loads of unix packages out there with version numbers
X.Y.Z where Y and Z needn't be single digit.
The correct time to go to 2.0 is if we ever have the uuumph to branch a
separate version and start working on big code changes :-)
Or, alternatively, stick to the roadmap!
