Alright, Ill take a look for it. My reccomendation would be a '-nocolor'
Command Line switch. This is my logic, and I hope none who have old computers
as their only computer take offense at this:

Let's assume that the two types of computers that would be using this system
are a) Old X-Terminals(Im personally using vt1200s) and b) Old computers that
only support B&W graphics(such as some sun3s I have).  Now X-Terminals don't
have hard drives of their own, and computers whose GUI is B&W probably don't
have much storage space themselves, let alone space that they could spare for
games. So I would guess that 99% of the time when FreeCiv would be run on these
systems, it would be run from a remote XHost. Using this logic, which I hope
you agree with, I think it would be saner to have the '-nocolor' be a command
line switch so that the XHost would not need to have two copies of the FreeCiv
client installed. I don't think this would really put a performance hit in the
client at all.
