There is a menu function (Kingdom->Find City or something like that)
to do that.

The problem is, once you get started, you won't know where to stop.
What is really needed is a scripting language in which this can be
programmed.  Otherwise it will turn into a mess.  Another thing that
would be nice, for instance, is telling a unit what to do before it is
even built.

That would be nice.  Personally I would like to do with the ruler
names and just use the nation names, I always have to look up one when
given the other.
