Hi, everyone!

I have been playing FreeCiv for quite a while now
( version 1.8 ),and there are a fiew little interface
issues that bug me.

Towards the end of a game when there are 200+ cities,
you want to locate a city with a wonder in it
(to conquer it of course).
So you go to the find city menu option and scroll
and scroll and scroll....

Is there anyone who has a patch to type in the text
of the city name you want to locate? If not, I'm
willing to develope a patch if people are interested.

On another matter, does anyone have a patch to have
settlers ( engineers ) perform more than one task with
only one command? For example, have them do
   road + irrigation
   road + railroad + fortification
   road + railroad + irrigation
and so on.
Again, is there any interest in such a patch? I'm
VERY new at development work and I think this may
be beyond my capabilities at the moment, but it shure
would save time!

Finally, some of us are dummies who can't remember
which graphics tiles go with which countries.
When you establish an embasy with an empire,
then you can get information about that empire/player
from the players menu command. How about including
the empires' graphics tile in this window? It would
fit nicely on the right top of the window.
Does someone have such a patch or should I spend
some time and implement it myself?

I really enjoy playing FreeCiv and want to say thanks
for all the people who make it fun and good to look
at!
