The popup menu code is in fact in the Gtk+ client, it's just #ifdef'd out.
Gtk+ seemed to have a bug that caused the text in the info label to become
corrupt when you put the info label inside a gtk_event_box.  I'm not
certain if this bug still exists, if it doesn't the code can be used.
