No, its not very helpful for us either...  

More information may help, eg:  What exact version of freeciv are you 
using, and what version where you using before?  Are you compiling 
from source or using a binary package?  If latter, exactly which 
package?  Does it produce a core file when it dies?  Do you know how
to use a debugger?  (Hmm, Powermac running what operating system?)
