[Freeciv-Dev] linux/ppc 1.8.1 server Aborting

Hi,
I just upgraded my way old version of freeciv on my powermac, and now I
can't run it. I can start the server and the client ok, but when I try to
connect to the server it just says "Abort" and dies. Any advice on what
might be going wrong? It's not the most comprehensive message...
