When running ./configure in the nxterm console of x windows (fvwm)
it say's
"checking for X... no"
      some more and
"configure: error: need X11"
 and yet im in x windows.

bug here or am i at fault?
oh yea, this version i downloaded from you link
and unpacked with gunzip and tar -xf: thats as far as i am.
