I understand that some people might want small icons, and that some
people may still be stuck with 8bpp displays, but some of us really 
want 'em much bigger and brighter :)

Perhaps a solution would be to make tilesets a user preference, and
simply ship with several. Are there any existing patches that makes it
easier to change tilesets (ie removes hardwired references to
width&height&colours etc)?
